Taste the Ireland in World’s longest food festival
Ireland is ready to host for getting a taste of the world class cookings and share feelings about its food. The country is going to host a massive food festival that is being called, the “world’s longest food festival.”The festival has already started and is held at Taste of West Cork festival, which is a perfect attraction for autumn, and will go on until November 30, 2019. It is expected that the festival will see 700 food and drink events by the end of it..
According to Ireland’s Manager of Food Tourism, Tracey Coughlan, Failte, the aim of this festival is to elevate the profile of Ireland’s food and drink experiences, and also to encourage off-peak holidays. The food festival promises a culinary journey into Ireland, a chance for anyone who is not well aware of the Irish cuisine, and would like to look into it. Additionally, you will have the fresh products, all farm-to-table products, or sea-to-fork products. Be ready for some amazing cheese, butter, salmon, crab, lamb, whiskey, gin, oyster, and more.
The food festival is titled Taste the Island, and this is an opportunity for visitors to meet and greet food producers, distillers, brewers, and such. You can also join food trails, forage and fish, and also learn traditional Irish cooking! There are also going to be number of pubs, cafes, and restaurants where you can join the pleasure. The festival also provides you an opportunity to visit pop-up restaurants, supper clubs, and even Michelin-starred eateries.
