Pamper your taste buds having ‘Daulat ki Chaat’ in Old Delhi!!
Daulat Ki Chaat is a magical combination of milk and cream and is made during a full moon night. The result is a light-as-air dish topped with kesar (saffron), khoya and sometimes nuts. Basically, It tastes like a very light foamy vanilla mousse which melts in your mouth and the small pieces of nuts and Khoya make you lose yourself.
In Delhi, the best Daulat ki Chaat is available in and around Chandni Chowk. There was a time when you could see vendors carrying the sweet in vessels balanced on wicker stands, walking sideways to avoid the sun.
