This 60-Year-Old Man Traveled From Delhi To London By Road in 150 days
Age is just a number, indeed this man proved this. Delhi resident Amarjeet Singh just showed this with his own life. The 60-year-old retired businessman has done something that people half his age will still be keeping as their wildest dream, which they hope against hope to fulfill. He has just completed a 33,000 km road trip from Delhi to London covering 33 countries in 150 days.
Singh began his journey from New Delhi on July 7th, 2018 on his old Toyota Fortuner SUV and completed his trip in London on December 16, 2018. He retired from his family business of garments export three years ago and said it took him 40 years to achieve his dream.
It took him about three months to complete all the formalities— from getting the necessary permissions to Visas. His dream to travel by road came true.
“I started from India to Nepal, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Monaco, France, Netherlands, Denmark and finally reached London,” Singh told.
The man, who is indeed an inspiration for millions of young travelers, has an amazing message to share with fellow wanderers.
