World’s largest underwater theme park is sight is to behold
Get ready to witness the World’s largest underwater theme park in Bahrain. Like mountain climbers, polar explorers, and other adrenaline junkies, scuba divers are always looking for the next big thrill. This year, Bahrain hopes to tempt traveling divers with a bucket-list-worthy theme park purpose-built for marine exploration.
The largest Underwater theme park will open at off the coast of Bahrain in few months. The 100,000-square-metre eco-friendly facility will have as its unlikely centerpiece a submerged Boeing 747.
The news was broken by the Personal Representative of His Majesty King Hamad, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also President of the Supreme Council for Environment. The site will offer a rare dive experience due to the presence of many structures, the aircraft, replica of traditional Bahraini pearl merchant’s house, man-made coral reefs and other things made from eco-friendly material. All these submerged into the sea will offer a secure asylum for the growth of coral reef and home to marine life.
This underwater theme park will attract diving enthusiasts and regular visitors before summer this year.
